History

Date of Birth: November 5th, 1962
Home: Audubon, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
Family: Jiminy and Sara Santee (parents); Cheryl (birth name)
Chrysalis: Preordainment (one of the first faerie spirits through the Arcadian Gate during the Resurgence, she sought a child's body and life to grow into, and chose Cheryl for her Creole heritage, wealth, and family's position in mortal society; she needed little guidance once she swapped souls with the girl, and leapt right into the Accordance War, her Eiluned magic deadly and forceful even while so young), 1970
Mentor: King Meilge
The Test: Trial by Influence (she needed no mentor, so fresh from Arcadia, and attached herself to the future king of this region even while the war waged)
Comrades: Meilge, Firebrand, Henry Rocher, Calantha Bellamour, Raziel Varos, Stephen Hathaway, Vangelis Onesiphoros, Vesna Zlatan, Ursula Long, Eduardo Cortijo
Key Event #1: War (Dehlila proved just as cold andheartless as many other Sidhe during the Accordance War, but as the war wound down, she actively encouraged Meilge to support the Treaty of Concord, as that would help him tamp down his future Kingdom of Willows)
Key Event #2: Treachery (for years, she remained a young but clever advisor in the king's court, but already began to conspire against him, slicing chaos into the complicit nobility and the king himself through subtle suggestions, gossiping, and innocent-seeming espionage)
Key Event #3: Treachery (as Meilge began to devolve, the now well-established Wilder Dehlila, ranked as a countess, lay groundwork for noble support under her wings through the same processes she perfected in her earlier adolescence)
Key Event #4: War (Ranters tried to assassinate the king and his court, including her, but Dehlila uncovered the plot known as the Bloodstain Conspiracy, through her numerous connections and allies, and arrested the conspirators)
Key Event #5: Treachery (then she shocked everyone by establishing an accord between she and these specific Ranters: the cell's leader, Bruce Rocher, a Redcap, let her marry his Kinain brother, Henry, and she would bear Henry a daughter a year later)
Key Event #6: Personal Tragedy (but a several years later, a new cell of Ranters came from out of town and murdered Henry [and Bruce]; they also sought to kill Dehlila and Meilge but the guards stopped them dead)
Key Event #7: War (Dehlila seized the opportunity to crush not only the Ranter rebels but the commoner dissent entirely in New Orleans as well as secede from the Kingdom of Willows, while Meilge lingered in his summer home up north)
Key Event #8: War (after declaring the entire New Orleans area her Kingdom of Three Waters, Meilge sent his knights to crush her usurping force, but she had made too many powerful allies among certain mercenary commoners, a number of nobles, and even several dangerous chimera; Meilge's forces were defeated in the brief War of the Forgotten City, and he was forced to acknowledge her sovereignty for now, and her political savvy even permitted her a royal seat on the Parliament of Dreams, recognizing her royal claim by both birthright de jure and political de facto)
Transition: Victory (so began the rule of Queen Dehlila Bellamour ni Eiluned, with her daughter Calantha now old enough to lend her assistance, too)

Weakness
The Evil Queen

Dehlila is cunning and cold-hearted. Though this helps her succeed politically, it has not availed her emotionally. Now that she involves her willing daughter in her schemes, the political and emotional are likely to collide...catastrophically for Dehlila.

Likelihood of Corruption

Low.

Dehlila puts no stock in the false promises of the wicked. She prefers her own raw power.
