Lady Cyndi Briggs ni Daireann
Cynderena Pyrasol of the Jolly Roger

Sidhe Wilder
Master Gunner of the
Cyclone

Description

Mortal Seeming: ~Cyndi Briggs is the reason the word “phat” was devised. An exotic woman in her early 20s, this American-Samoan blend is eye candy from head to toe and every contour of the hourglass figure in between. Dark hair is worn long but occasionally it is swept out of the way in a braid. The stunning brunette must like to show off her voluptuous yet lean figure, for she frequently wears revealing "beach babe" attire like denim shorts and tight-clinging t-shirts. Painted and pedicured toes peek from sandals and draw attention up the lengths of smooth, golden legs. Full hips curve into an athletic waist and back out with the fullness of her bust. Svelte muscles define her bare arms. Despite all the unblemished skin Cyndi boasts, her tall stature and proud posture impose more than bare flesh. A confident smirk twists her full lips and the fires of a demanding challenge flash in her dark eyes. Fearless and sharp, whatever her game may be, she’s at the top.~

Fae Mien: ~The blaze of Cyndi Briggs’ gaze becomes a verisimilitude of heat and passion when her true faerie nature is revealed. Her common clothes sizzle away, but the Sidhe’s perfect body is clad instead in leather from neck to foot. Lady Cynderena Pyrasol ni Daireann seems only prouder and more intent, and indeed far mightier and stunning. The scarlet voile she wears is so sleek it appears to be close-cut satin, but the strange leather conforms to her shapely curves and effeminate muscles like a second skin. The ribbed leggings host a veritable arsenal -– a sheathed saber and dagger, a quiver of arrows, and a magazine pouch of ammunition. Slung crisscross over her shoulders are the straps for an eloquently streamlined crossbow and an archaic single-shot, muzzle-loaded, smoothbore rifle. The weapons' straps help close the leather vest around the Samoan-Irish American’s burgeoning bust. Cords fit the vest like a corset and frame the gorgeous, imperious lift of her chin and rise of noble cheekbones. Her deep-brown hair darkens to basalt black sprinkled with silvery-gray flecks like ash. It sweeps down from beneath a silk handkerchief bound over her scalp dyed crimson red save for the skull-like motif woven dead center in the fabric. A superheated breeze seems to perpetually blow in Cynderena’s frightfully beautiful face, washing loose hair back and whipping against the warrior-woman’s lavabloom-treated dragon leather outfit. The tell-tale insignia of her feared and outlawed House is emblazoned on the left side of her vest. This fiery avenger is to be admired and feared, but certainly not one with which to be trifled.~

OOC: Appearance 6 (shapely)

"I'm living proof that fire burns in water."

History

Date of Birth: June 2nd, 1983
Home: San Diego, California, United States
Family: Jeff and Lissa Briggs (parents)
Chrysalis: Preordainment (led a normal navy brat life, but then just as young Cyndi began to blossom into puberty, the Sidhe spirit was drawn to her exotic beauty and claimed her, twisting her with memories of dancing through fires), 1996
Mentor: Lady Vivica Bella ni Aesin
The Test: Trial by Influence (her Chrysalis set her wandering afoot as if already eager to begin an adventure; chimerical critters spotted and reported her to the nearest fae, who happened also to be a key Unseelie lord in the area; Vivica took Cyndi in and taught her the Fior-Righ, Unseelie fashion, and prepared her for the Naming by connecting her to all the nobles in the area)
Comrades: Lady Vivica, Lady Yelsa, Lady Sana
Key Event #1: Treachery (too war-like to sit through salons, she turned to exploring and swashbuckling across town, challenging changeling heroes and punks alike, regaining her Daireann bearings)
Key Event #2: War (having rejected court life, she enlisted in the US Army and spent time in Iraq in "support units" that fell under insurgent attacks, and there she cut her teeth while turning heads)
Transition: Shift in Purpose (after cycling back to the States, she stayed away from her former noble friends, and fell in with Lady Sabia and the crew of the Cyclone -- faerie pirates!)

Remembrance

Cyndi’s memories of her faerie past come in snippets and at inopportune times. They generally come to the Sidhe when she suffers her kith’s "time slips". However, they are informative glimpses of Arcadia and her life in a volcanic Daireann stronghold known as Fea'ta're. From that past, she is able to derive other bits of mythlore and gremayre.

Weakness
Fire-Scorched Conscience

Cyndi Briggs is a hardened soldier. So is her alter ego and true nature as Cynderena Parasol. She is hardly Banal, it’s just that when it comes to battle she doesn't hesitate to "switch off" any target. Lives are indeed little more than light switches to this Unseelie babe.

Likelihood of Corruption

Average.

Though callous, Cyndi is possessed of an adventurous spirit and driven to perfection. She is not inherently evil, she's just emotionally careless and "brutally efficient".
