Mentor: Queen Serena Bellamy ni Beaumayn
The Test: Trial by Knowledge (Serena’s Beaumayn/Soothsay “spidey-sense” tingled when Ophelia changed; sweeping in before any local fae could, she introduced herself and welcomed Ophelia…as Megara; Serena then oversaw her Fior-Righ and conducted her Naming herself, much to the awe of the Ensemble)

Key Event #1: Personal Tragedy (her mythical identity always proved dominant while among the fae, and then her true ancient history struck her—that her husband Hercules had murdered her and her children all those thousands of years ago!—the revelation of memory broke her and it took every fae, including Serena, to calm her down even with ample Sovereign and Chicanery)
Transition: Loss of Companions (she’s suffering the ancient loss of her family as if it just happened and is either rambunctious, earnest, adventurous, and magnanimous [not unlike Megara in the Disney movie] or inconsolably distraught and miserable, teetering towards the edge of Bedlam; some questioned Serena why she even kept the Tyche around, but Ophelia’s Soothsay is inherently masterful and a mysterious yet key part of the entire enterprise)

Remembrance


Magnitude: Ophelia’s memory is fantastic, reaching all the way back to the Legendary Age.
Details: She recalls with great clarity moments of Princess Megara’s life in ancient Greece, and her fey connections that yielded—and still yield—long-lost secrets and powerful cantrips. One problem: she also remembers the awful tragedy of Hercules being tricked into murdering her and their children, something her faerie soul had apparently deliberately blocked out and never dealt with back in Arcadia…!

Activation: This chimerical treasure requires a sacrifice of Glamour to function. If the cantrip that it’s meant to bolster is Wyrded, an extra Glamour must be spent to also Wyrd the Orb.

Short Sword
Appearance: Her main self-defense weapon is a xyele, a smaller-than-usual short sword (about 20 inches long). It is slender and ornate, engraved with images of the (Greek) gods, especially Athena and Nike.
