Lady Letitia Chiriga ni Leanhaun
Nathair Afrai of the Fountain of Verdant Mist

Pooka Wilder
Knight of the Lodge of Avernus

Description

Mortal Form: ~Slink meets style in Letitia “Tish” Chiriga. Tish struts in leather and silk, cut in the latest fashions. She favors a wide assortment of colors on any given day. But her choices always highlight her light-caramel brown (“red eboe”) skin and thick black hair. Her hair always gets special attention, ranging from flattened straight (rarely with extensions) and styled into a Rachel, to knotted up into multiple afro puffs, to occasional cornrow braids with elaborate jewels, to even a flat-out wild afro. Tish clearly takes pride in her appearance. The radiant glow to her cheeks and the twinkle in her brown eyes illustrate that. No wrinkles mar Tish’s skin, but instead markings adorn her left cheek and forehead – deliberate little circles and lines that seem like meaningless scars. Her age seems impossible to guess. She appears to range from her early 20s to mid-40s. Who can tell? Who’d dare guess? Experience conspires with vigor in this lady’s soul. Dexterous fingers animatedly echo every word her painted lips utter, as if she were inventing a new sign language on the spot. The lithe energy of her leggy form helps distract from the African-American’s pearly white teeth, particularly those unusually long canines. Does she have a lisp from her “deformity” or does that derive from a hint of an exotic accent?~

OOC: Appearance 4 (slinky)

Fae Seeming: ~Her true figure bequeaths an image of a creature marrying dark and light, black and white: the African-American woman cannot hide her serpentine heritage. The Pooka’s eyes yellow and slit. Her skin darkens and hardens into smooth scales. The scales become so shiny black that they reflect light, like a perfect onyx jewel. She does not lose the length of her limbs, nor their use. However, Letitia Chiriga revels in the snake-like elegance her sinuous muscles provide; her every step seems to exaggerate her mundane slinkiness. The scars on her face deepen and gleam with a crimson heat that burns from under her scaly skin. Her clothing does not vanish but voile replaces it with hardier dark-brown leather. The leather conforms to her womanly form but reveals nothing. A single silk handkerchief tucks into her vest. Upon it one might observe the threading of a single rose bloom.~

OOC: Appearance 4 (slinky)

Animal Form: ~Holy Christmas! A ten-foot snake slithers swiftly out of sight before too many housewives have heart attacks. This is why snakes are near-deaf, from hearing the shrieks of terror of human harridans. Yeesh, people. It’s just a highly venomous elapid, rich gray in color, with no patience for your human shenanigans. Yes, yes, we know that black mambas aren’t native to this part of the world. Neither are tacos, Gidget.~

OOC: SNAKE! A pretty one.

"Don't put all your eggs in one basket. I'm really, really hungry."

Weakness
Deadly Shenanigans

Tish loves to play her silly Pooka games. Problem is, sometimes her idea of a joke goes too far, offending the wrong snooty lord, killing the wrong noble's son, et cetera. As a Leanhaun, she has yet to embrace the seriousness of the need to Rhapsodize. She enjoys the game of seduction but cares little about the drive to stay young forever. Living in a freehold helps, but it also doesn't endear her to her Housemates. Antoinette tolerates her for Vivian's sake.

Likelihood of Corruption

Average.

She has carefully embraced her House curse by maintaining the high-flying Glamour-charged life she enjoyed even before ennoblement. However, political extremists annoy her immensely (after a Ranter killed her mentor and best friend), and so she's far more likely to sink her fangs into a Shadow Courtier than listen to his lies.
